They're not just for lifting your fanny....

So what's a Mom with a busy 5 and 3 year old to do on a cold March day while the baby naps? Why, make an obstacle course, of course! Those of you who know the FIRM will recognize the Fanny Lifter, the Incline Box, and the TransFIRMER boxes; yes, they make you buy new boxes every time they come out with a new set of videos. So far I've managed to avoid 'the WAVE', but I do have the Stability Ball. Which I hate. Anyway. Evie and William have SO much energy and it was a cold day in March 2007, so we set up an obstacle course using all the boxes and the various play tents/tubes that we have. It was a really fun afternoon & kept them busy while I relaxed! Ah, those were the days....

Yes, Evie always runs on her hands and feet. She wishes she were any mammal but human.

William, catching some air!

Evie, catching even MORE air!

  1. Great pics!!! My eleven year old loves to tear the pillows apart to make forts. He takes the cats in with him and traps them under a box with him. Don't worry I save the cats if they cry... most of the time.

  2. What a fun collection of photos! Your babies certainly get some height on those jumps, don't they?

  3. That looks like so much more fun than doing the videos!

  5. You get the award for thinking outside the box. What a great activity for an indoor day.

I just joined your blog. If you feel like it come on over to mine too.
